Adib Kazzi

Lead Design Engineer


Adib Kazzi is a Lead Design Engineer at FREE Energy with over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and large-scale infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Africa. He specializes in solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid microgrids, and industrial energy solutions, with hands-on experience ranging from engineering design and technical consultancy to commissioning, operations, and project execution. 

Throughout his career, Adib has led the design and implementation of utility-scale and commercial solar projects up to 80 MW, including complex grid-connected and off-grid systems integrating PV, diesel generators, and energy storage technologies. His experience spans projects in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Iraq, Chad, and Zambia for industrial, humanitarian, and commercial clients. 

He holds internationally recognized certifications including Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). At FREE Energy, he leads technical design activities, supports strategic renewable energy initiatives, and develops advanced clean energy solutions focused on reliability, safety, and operational performance.
