Emilio El Hajj is a Senior Energy Engineer at FREE with over 10 years of experience in civil engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and sustainable infrastructure development. He specializes in energy management and supports organizations in improving energy performance, reducing operational costs, and advancing sustainability objectives. 

Emilio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Professional Diploma in Green Technologies (Energy). He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), and Project Management Professional (PMP). He also holds a certification in Performance Contracting & Financing (PCF) and is certified as a Solar Photovoltaic Technician. 

Throughout his career, Emilio has led and contributed to projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, serving public institutions, international organizations, and private-sector clients. His expertise includes energy audits, energy efficiency assessments, renewable energy feasibility studies, solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems, as well as project implementation and performance verification. 

At FREE, he provides technical leadership for complex energy and renewable energy projects, delivering practical and sustainable solutions that enhance energy resilience and create long-term value for clients and communities.
