FREE energy designed and implemented a hybrid solar system with a fuel-saver controller on the rooftop of Royal Gourmet’s Choueifat facility, driven by the company’s need to reduce rising energy expenses. The design uses an east-west mounting configuration to maximize the available rooftop area and extend peak load coverage further across the day than a standard south-facing layout would allow.
The system generates approximately 111.9 MWh annually, delivering an estimated $19,583 in yearly savings and 80.17 tonnes of CO2 reduction each year for one of Lebanon’s established salmon processing operations.
