Established in 1996, Royal Gourmet produces premium quality fresh and smoked Salmon and supplies hotels, restaurants, caterers, and supermarkets.
Following the facility’s demand to decrease their energy bills, FREE energy was hired to design and implement a hybrid solar system equipped with a fuel saver controller.
The solar photovoltaic system was installed on the facility rooftop in Choueifat, Lebanon, and was commissioned in 2019.
FREE energy optimized the design by maximizing the potential area used and boosting the PV solar power output by installing an east-west mounting solar PV solution catered for the operations of Royal Gourmet covering the peak load for a longer period of time during the day.
